Inquiry is the practice of listening to the body as your primary source of guidance. Symptoms, sensations, gut feelings, tension, ease, contraction, and expansion are all forms of communication.
Your nervous system is always speaking. Through somatic inquiry, you learn to recognise the narratives held in the body and how they shape perception, behaviour, and physiology - and to respond with presence, curiosity, and trust.
This is also where naturopathic assessment lives: the functional lab interpretation, the detailed intake, and the slower questions beneath the form. What was happening in your life when this began? What is your body protecting you from? What did your family system carry?

The gut and brain exist in constant conversation. Through the vagus nerve and immune, hormonal, and microbial signalling, digestion directly shapes nervous system regulation and mental health. My body has always been my compass. Long before I had language for it, intuition was my first literacy - a way of reading rooms, people, and my own physiology that arrived before thought, and that hardship only sharpened.
I've watched so many people lose that fluency - trained by culture to push through, perform, and override the very signals that were trying to keep them whole. My work became the bridge between these worlds: weaving innate, embodied knowing with clinical practice, meeting people where conventional care wasn't designed to follow.
